On this I am sharing some useful links. The links are divided into the sections car rental, places to sleep (hotels, hostels, etc), transportation (airliners, trains, coaches etc) and other usefull information.

  • hihostels.com - Homepage of the international youth hostel organisation.

  • airhelp.com - This site helps you to get a refund if your flight is cancelled or delayed.
  • BlaBlaBus - A company that takes you by bus within Europe. 
  • ebookers.com - This site lets you book cars, hotels and airplanes.
  • finn.no - A good Norwegian site which lets you search for cheap airline-tickets.
  • Flixbus.com - A good site for traveling with bus / coach. within Europe. The company has domestic and international lines.

  • momondo.com - Site for cheap hotels, airplanes and cars.
  • lastminute.com - Site for booking hotel, airplane and rent cars.
  • Norwegian - Cheap Norwegian airliner.
  • nationalexpress.com - Buy tickets to train and trains in the UK.
  • reise.no - Norwegian site for finding cheap tickets.
  • restplass.no - Site for last minute bookings.
  • renfe.es - Homepage of the Spanish railway.
  • SAS - The largest airliner in Norway.
  • seat24.se - Great site for inexpensive airplanes.

Travel information

  • Wikitravel.org - A free, complete, up-to-date, and reliable worldwide travel guide. It's like Wikipedia but more touristy.
  • tripadvisor.com - A large travel-page which tells you the real deal about the places you want to visit. I am really not a big fan of this site but mention it because of it's popularity.
  • Landsider.no - Travel tips from the Norwegian Ministry of foreign affairs.
  • Packhacker.com - this poage has lots of usefull information, reviews etc for those who travel. 
  • Stay.com - A great offline map for lots of cities. It uses the GPS on your tablet or phone and lets you know where you are within seconds. You may ad places to visit from their websites and these places are synced to you r offline map.
  • TravelBuddy.com - A great place if you want to meet someone on you travels.
